Are we still here?

Yes the Mohair Centre, or Brickfield Farm has been owned and run by the Webb family since 1983. We started focusing on mohair producing angora goats, hence the name, but we are now predominantly a Day Care Facility (all year round) for children 2-13yrs. The farm is used by both the Nursery & Holiday Club as well as Schools and groups.

Is the shop still open?

No the shop closed in 2006.

Is the Tea Room still open?

No, the Tea Room, continues to bear the same name but this is used by the Nursery and Holiday Club for lunch, snacks and tea.

Can we just come and look round?

No sorry we are not an Open Farm. All visits must be by appointment only.

Do angora goats produce wool?
